Web widget

Install the widget script, configure it, identify users and use the JavaScript API.

Install @mentiora-ai/react-native-sdk, open the chat, identify users and handle push notifications.

Before you start

Both integrations use values from the Install tab of your widget in Mentiora admin:

  • Embed key: a public pk_wgt_… key that identifies the widget.
  • Install snippet: the script tag for your website, with the widget origin filled in.
  • Allowed origins: the websites the widget may load on.
  • Identity keys: the secret your backend signs identity tokens with. Only needed to sign users in.

How sign-in works

Visitors chat anonymously by default. To tell the Mentiora platform who is chatting, your backend mints an identity token, a JWT signed with your identity key, and the widget or SDK hands it over.
